اعتذر مطرب المهرجانات مسلم للشعب الأردني بعد انتشار مقطع فيديو لزوجته ومديرة أعماله أثار حالة من الجدل بسبب عبارات فُسرت على أنها تحمل إساءة للأردن وشعبه.
وأوضح مسلم في مقطع فيديو عبر حساباته الرسمية أن ما حدث لم يكن مقصودًا وحديث زوجته جاء نتيجة سوء تعبير وفي سياق الحديث عن حفله المرتقب في الأردن، مؤكدًا احترامه الكامل للبلد وشعبه، ومطالبًا جمهوره بتجاوز الأزمة.

وأكد المطرب المصري تقديره للأردن ومكانته، مشيرًا إلى أن الفنانين المصريين والعرب يكنون للشعب الأردني كل المحبة والاحترام، كما جدد دعوته للجمهور لحضور حفله المنتظر.

وتأتي الأزمة قبل الحفل المقرر أن يحييه مسلم في الأردن غداً يوم 14 أغسطس الجاري، وسط حالة من الجدل التي صاحبت انتشار الفيديو، بعدما طالب بعض المتابعين بإلغاء الحفل قبل أن يخرج مسلم لتوضيح موقفه وتقديم اعتذار.
